MARBLES Logo Suite

The MARBLES logo is constructed using a combination of bold lettering, colours and symbols symbolising the key aspects of the project, harnessing marine microbes for drug discovery and sustainable production of fish and crops. The MARBLES logo is constructed using a combination of upper-case bold lettering and a special hand-crafted accompanying icon of Streptomyces coelicolor. S. coelicolor is the model bacteria being studied in the MARBLES project. The icon is a construction of the mass of beautiful blue droplets produced by S. coelicolor which under a microscope look like marbles. The blue marbles are complemented with the sustainable motifs of a leaf and a fish, which represent the sustainable production of fish and crops aspect of the project. The logo suite includes the logo in different options: one containing the logo with project tagline and one with the logo only. The logo is and will be included in all the project’s promotional material including the presentation templates, factsheet, website, video, etc. Brand guidelines have also been developed alongside the logo as a guide for the correct application of the logo in relation to the background, spacing, etc.
