Podcast featuring MARBLES Researcher
A special edition of the InnCoCells podcast featuring MARBLES researcher Fernando Reyes and SECRETed coordinator Manuel Salvador. Both joined Richard Twyman (InnCoCells) to discuss their recent progress and the ways in which the four AIMS Cluster projects (Algae4IBD, InnCoCells, MARBLES and SECRETed) are working together to address common challenges and to raise awareness about the applications of natural products from plants and microbes.
MARBLES is part of the AIMS cluster of four research projects funded under the Call ‘FNR-11-2020: Prospecting aquatics and terrestrial natural biological resources for biologically active compounds.’ Funded €30.7 million by the EU Horizon 2020 Research and Innovation Programme, the four projects are focusing on the harnessing of natural compounds to discover their potential in medicine, food, agriculture and cosmetics. The cluster was formed to explore common challenges, activities and to optimise synergies, adding value to each project and to the cluster as a whole. The cluster will work together towards common goals by means of working groups, workshops and meetings as well as data sharing and overall collaboration.
