12th World Sponge Conference

The World Sponge Conference brings together international scientists to meet up and have lively discussions. This year's conference will feature eight thematic sessions, covering key topics in sponge research:

Important Dates 📅 Abstract Submission: 10 March - 18 April

✉️ Notification of abstracts acceptance: 19 May

📝 Registration (single stage): 26 May - 30 June

📍 Pre-conference meetings (upon request): 8 September 2025

Registration fees

🪙 BSc, MSc, PhD students, and emeritus researchers: €350

💶 Postdoc and young investigators (within 3 years of PhD completion): €450

💰 Faculty members, senior researchers: €650

🌏 Participants from developing countries: discount of €100 over the respective category.

They will do our best to be able to provide some travel grants based on financial need and availability of funds. Further details will be shared in due course.
